February Favorites

Hi! February has been a good month. I got to go on a couple mini trips, celebrate another valentine’s day with my husband, and listen to a ton of new music. Here are some of my favorite finds and new things I’m dabbling in!

A little playlist of songs that have been on repeat lately:

Khalid ft. Disclosure – Talk

Peter CottonTale – Forever Always

Ariana Grande – Needy

Maggie Rogers – Say It

Khalid x 6LACK x Ty Dolla $ign – OTW

Jamila Woods – Holy

The 1975 – I Couldn’t Be More In Love

Post Malone – Wow.

Hozier – Almost (Sweet Music)

Ariana Grande – NASA

Breakbot – A Mile Away ft. Irfrane

As usual, my music taste is always all over the place!

My favorite coffee shops I have visited this month was of course Sawdust Road in Virginia Beach. Another favorite is Equinox Coffee Co that opened up in Norfolk not too long ago and I fell in love. Also, I visited Chairlift in Richmond and it was such a cute vibe!

I got the chance to thrift some this month and go to the Buffalo Exchange in Richmond and found some gems. Here is my favorite find:

Everlane is an ethical factory clothing company. I got super lucky and snagged these high waisted jeans in my size, on sale for only $9. They are originally $68! Grateful.

Also, I’ve been getting into makeup and learning a ton! I’ve tried many foundations/concealers and Fenty still is number one! My favorite has been this combo. SIDE NOTE: if you need help color matching your shade go to findation.com & put what foundation you’re using now & let it work its magic!

Last, but not least, I’ve been studying out peace and also taming the tongue. I have a lot to take in & cannot wait to blog fully on it, but this scripture has been on my heart and has been very applicable to me:

“Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil…”Psalm 34.12-16

This scripture reminds me of some of the essentials to lead a good life filled with good days. It has been motivating me to speak with more kindness. To flee from sin and turn from what doesn’t give peace or produce it. It also gives me the promise that the Lord hears me and sees me. I feel so loved by that.

Thanks for reading, I love blogging! It’s been really cool and exciting interacting with so many different women from all over.
