Hi friends, I am so glad to be back on the saddle. I’ve been doing a ton of behind the scene things at work and outside of work that I’ve been super invested in! It’s so crazy that we are seven months deep into 2019. Like HOW ON EARTH? There have been many things that God and others have been teaching me the past couple of months. I would say the biggest thing is trusting in God’s timing and giving myself space between growth.
I am so stinkin’ hasty when it comes to my dreams or things I am passionate about. If I am honest, it has definitely hindered my perspective on God’s timing and how truly big He is. I’ve put a ton in my own hands and I’ve seen where it’s made my faith small. But, thank God for guidance and second chances! I am truly grateful for the headspace to process deep things and to still have peace despite where I’ve fallen short.
So here are some of my favorite songs/albums I’ve been listening to this month:
Ari Lennox – Shea Butter Baby (ALBUM) | I am obsessed with this album! It took me a while to listen to it, but I am glad I did. Some of my favorite songs from the album: I been, New Apartment, & Shea Butter Baby ft. J.Cole.

Some of my favorite thrift finds!!! I’ve been hitting the jackpot this month with good finds while thrifting. Here are some of my favorites.
Also, a thrift tip: Don’t be afraid to try bigger or smaller sizes. Sizes over the years have switched up and are sized differently. One of the dresses I recently got is size 16…..I am not a 16 but it fits perfect on me!
And lastly, this month has been a good one for my husband and me. We have really dived into our web design business and it has been so exciting learning new things, working alongside my spouse, and being able to do something we both love. We are still learning the ropes about contracts and business licenses and all that jazz! I am scared, yet enjoying this new adventure!
I hope July continues to be a refreshing month and to keep running towards relying on God. I am finishing up another blog post on a n x i e t y this month as well!
With Love, Mal
